Be weird. Be yourself. Be the love you want to feel in return. That's how we live this blasphemous life together each and every day.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kelly and Juan in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were actually neighbors in the same apartment building. Juan moved in two floors below me, and before we ever even spoke to each other, I nicknamed Juan "Delicious Neighbor". One day, a huge box addressed to Juan showed up at my door by mistake, so I had to knock on his door to ask for help to carry it back downstairs to him. Juan is still convinced I did this on purpose. Sigh. That is NOT what happened.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It's probably hard to choose from between one of our first road trips together where a million inside jokes were coined, or snorkeling with giant Manta Rays in Hawaii and realizing Juan really can't snorkel very well. At all. Let's just say the GoPro footage was a little...chaotic. He also cheats at Mario Kart.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use $20,000 to help his family in South America invest in a safe and secure home for themselves, and potentially also toward a down payment on a home for us here in Texas, to grow old and weird with together, forever.
