How did your love story begin?

Like all good love stories these days - online. But not on a dating app (Although there is NOTHING wrong with that!). He replied to something I posted, after noticing I said I lived in the Midwest. It turns out he did, too. Messaging conversation turned to flirting. Messaging flirting turned to phone call conversations. As different as we were, me a city gal and he a country guy, we clicked. Our connection was instant. And electric.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s difficult to top our first date. With five hours between us, we met at a town in the middle to explore shops, eat, and walk a trail. However, we were greeted by a monsoon. While the Heavens unleashed torrential rain, we talked. And kissed. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. The ease and attraction we felt with one another was like lightning in a bottle. From the moment I laid eyes on my King in person, I knew he was major league and I was just farm team. He feels the same about me, too.

What would you do with $20,000?

Selfishly, I would plan a romantic date - probably with massages, a good meal, and plenty of canoodling. But honestly, after that, I’d like to think I’d pay a lot of it forward. Give a hand up to those treading water. Maybe put money towards a home repair. But definitely invest in our rescue animals that we take in. Our farm is called Misfit Meadows for a very awesome reason!
