Connect How did your love story begin?

A mutual friend named Brett introduced us. Max was living in Colorado and Kaypee was living in Texas, so our first interactions were online. When Max came to Texas to visit Brett, Kaypee drove them home after a comedy show that Brett and Max attended. After hanging out the rest of the night, we both recognized that something was drawing us to each other. We spent the next few days tethered to one another. Max even pushed his flight one day so we could be together a little longer.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first trip to Japan stands out to us both. We had only been dating a few months. It was a big trip and something that could really test a relationship. Being tired, jet-lagged, and in a very different place can take its toll, but we made each other laugh when things were taxing, leaning on each other instead of pushing each other away. That trip showed us that we could work together very well under stress and we'd be able to handle most situations without issue.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were to win $20,000, we would put it towards doing both of our bucket list items together. Max was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis about a year and a half ago and that put our priorities into perspective. There is so much we want to see and do. This would help us get started making new memories together that we can cherish in the event Max is unable to see and do as much in the future. If we are selected or not, we feel so lucky to have found our dream partners. That's the greatest prize
