When I was 17 and I walked into band practice and was introduced to the drummer, Eric. Eric became really good friends with me and my best friend. We stayed friends even when Eric moved away to Colorado. In 2016, my best friend passed away. Eric was my first call, and I’ll never forget what he said. “ Stay put, I’m coming to get you.” He drove straight there from CO and took me back with him. Through the worst grief imaginable, we healed and fell in love, and have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Having our son. It changed us both immeasurably. We have grown and flourished with unyielding love for each other and our child. Although we had hoped to have more.. after many failed and life changing losses, we’ve only been blessed with one and for that we are forever grateful.
What would you do with $20,000?We have always dreamed of starting our own food truck! We both love to cook and it would solidify our dream of spending every day together as a family, and spreading joy making food for people. We already have all the plans, and we are doing the hard work but winning would be a dream come true.
