We matched on Bumble and spent the entire night talking. We decided to meet up for a lunch date at a little Italian restaurant near my office, and within the next week we had gone on four more dates. One night, he got off of work late (catering for Genesis) and showed up at my apartment at 3 a.m. with the best chocolate cake in Raleigh. That was the moment I knew he was special.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?This past year, we decided to go to Snowshoe for our birthdays (we're one day apart). We booked a cabin at the foot of the mountain, and our first day was magical. We had steaks, sat in the hot tub, and watched a movie with the gas fireplace keeping us warm. At midnight, we were woken up by the carbon monoxide alarm and evacuated the building. Even though we had to meet the fire chief at 2 a.m. and sit in a car in -14 degree weather, we still laughed and joked and had a good time!
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 as a downpayment on our first home! Right now, we're in a small one bedroom apartment with two rescue cats and a labradoodle/husky mix. We're slowly but surely running out of room, and we're very eager to begin a family!
