Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story started in high school at 16. On our “real” first date, sharing food in my car outside a my (and now our) church, I told him I’d marry him one day. It wasn’t a guess—it was a feeling. My parents and both his siblings married their high school sweethearts (all still together today!). Through ups and downs, we've grown together with that same kind of love. I always had a feeling I would marry my HS sweetheart, and Reece and I are one the way to that being reality.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When discussing our favorite memory, we both thought about the night of our junior prom. As we all know, prom isn’t all it’s hyped up to be in movies (I mean they didn’t even play a slow dance… leaving me sad of course) but when we left, Reece surprised me by driving us to a park where we slow danced on the grass in the headlights. He played the classic “stand by me” by Ben King. It was our “the notebook” style relationship moment. Representing how thoughtful our love has been since day 1!

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won, we’d one day use the $20K toward a home where we could start the rest of our lives together and one day, hopefully start a family of our own. It would be serve as a physical foundation for our future and a space filled with love, laughter, and everything we've worked toward since we were only 16.
