We were both on eHarmony, and John’s account was set to expire in a few days. I was outside of his geographic range, but he was within mine. I sent him a message. We chatted for a week, and then we met for lunch. It was the first date in my (Kathy’s) life where I was not pulling teeth to have a conversation. He left for vacation for a week; I left for vacation for two weeks. We texted twice, and met when I returned. That was 3 yrs ago! We now live together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is our trip to Maine with our three sons: Leo and Owen, John’s twins and Joey, my son. We hiked, sailed, ziplined, climbed a ropes course, white water rafted, shopped, played board games, and just relaxed and had a ton of fun!
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to pay the balance of our upcoming trip in July 2026 when we take our three boys to England, Ireland, and Scotland to celebrate Leo and Owen’s college graduation and Joey’s Eighth Grade graduation! John has a bid in to play at St. Andrews, and I look forward to staying on the coast of the Emerald Isle! We will be celebrating four years together at that time, too, and John gave me a claudagh ring on our first anniversary. Ireland and Scotland are bucket list for us!
