Connect How did your love story begin?

We met doing a local production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. Both superfans, we locked eyes across the table read every time a callback moment hit—silently bonding over our shared love. After rehearsals, we’d sing karaoke at the local dive bar. Cody’s rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon” made me swoon. One night, I finally kissed him. What started as a playful showmance turned into a decade-long love story and counting!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It is hard to pick just one favorite memory—we’ve built a life full of them. From sharing the stage to traveling to the Pacific Northwest, adopting our dogs Tiggy and Jackson, and cozy Sunday mornings watching cartoons on the couch, every moment has been special. We love weekend brunch at our local cafe and singing together while Cody plays the piano. So the favorite memory is simply doing life together—we’re best friends and the person we both like being with most.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use the $20,000 to kickstart our next chapter. After two years engaged, we want a wedding where we can celebrate with all the people who have been a part of our journey—without financial stress. We are also hoping to buy a home and start a family soon, and putting part of the funds towards that dream would help lay the foundation for our future together.
