Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love began unexpectedly, but undoubtedly driven by fate. We were coworkers for over a year, but after she left our employer, we began exploring a friendship. It did not take long for us to realize we both held feelings for each other that we previously kept close to our chest. Our love unfolded then beautifully, beginning as any good love does, as friends first.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is the first trip we took as a couple. For Valentine’s day she bought us concert tickets to one of my favorite childhood bands. We road-tripped to Houston, TX and had an incredible time experiencing some of her favorite spots in town. This trip revealed the true beauty of our relationship and our potential for a deeply fulfilling love together. It further showed me how thoughtful and considerate she is, making me feel truly loved in a way I have never experienced.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put it towards our goal of providing our family with more expansive opportunities. After losing my mom this year, I became the guardian of my younger sister. Kate moved in with us immediately & has been my rock through the most traumatic time of my life. We are working towards moving out of state, and it would mean so much to me to be able to provide support for her, her family and my sister, easing and expediting the process for all of us.
