It started a little over a year ago. He was my manager actually at Hooters. He had caught my attention and I noticed that he started working on all of my shifts. We worked well together. Eventually we went out for a night cap after a shift, had a few drinks, played pool, went to the beach at 1am, went to a lake and just never left each others side after. We started talking and going on dates to the beach, carnivals and nature walks near us. I was introduced to his daughter, eventually moved in.

My favorite memory will always be our first night out. What I thought would only be a drink after work turned into all night and the next day. We ended up falling asleep in each others arms on the lake due to exhaustion of staying up all night. He was shy and kept his attraction to himself before but after a few drinks he was more open about his feelings and was actually geeking about the small things which gave me butterflies and asked to make the night last longer so we did.

We would use the money to start building a property in my families country, Costa Rica. I have inherited land there and we’ve been talking about building over there and Air BnB while we are here working. Once our children finish high school and go on to college we plan on finishing our lives out there relaxing and growing old together while living the calm farmer life. We just want to parent our children so that they’re capable and independent and then enjoy our accomplishments together.
