Chance meeting at my apartment pool. Thinking I would never see her again. She then moved in across the street from me soon after, I eventually asked her out for a drink, and she said yes. I mentioned I had a date later that night, she convinced me to call and cancel it, so I did, we went to the beach instead. We got back to the apartment around 1:00am. You guess separate apartments or not? We got married on October 28, 1989. Despite ups and downs over 36 years, our love has remained constant.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have shared many great memories our wedding, travels and events. By far our greatest memory that we share is the birth of our two sons and the birth of our grandson.
What would you do with $20,000?We have experienced many blessings in 36 years of marriage. While $20,000 would address some of our financial needs, we would use the money to put down payments on homes for our two children and their families. Additionally, we support several charities that could use the money to assist people in need. Using $20,000 for causes beyond our immediate benefit is the best way of getting and giving at the same time.
