Mario and I are soul-tied no distance can dull the love, laughter, and deep bond you two share. It’s real, it’s rare, it’s forever.
We would like to thank you for supporting Karen and Mario in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I’ve always heard of the invisible string theory, but didn’t know that’s what ours would be. Mario and I went to elementary school and high school together, but actually never knew each other, somehow we added each other on Snapchat, and when the time was right and we were both single was how we eventually messaged each other and went on our first date, 3 years ago, now we’re ENGAGED!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of my favorite memories with Mario was the first time we went to San Antonio together. It wasn’t far from home, but it meant everything. It was his first time traveling somewhere just for fun not for work, not to see family just to explore and make memories. We went to Six Flags, and I’ll never forget how his eyes lit up like a little kid’s. It was like I got to meet a younger version of him that day carefree, laughing, hands in the air on roller coasters, completely in the moment.
What would you do with $20,000?A chunk might go toward meaningful like our wedding or honeymoon, turning dreams into plans. We would probably also treat our loved ones in small ways dinner with the family, little surprises for the people who mean the most.
