We would like to thank you for supporting Kandace & Brian in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
A mutual friend introduced us but Brian was too busy, but almost a year later another friend set us up on a blind date. We found we had common interests and dreams. We were married on St. John in the USVI and loved it so much that we came back, sold our separate condos and moved there. Loving the ocean, each other and our life ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Managing Princess Keys in the Bahamas. Working with the cruise line and especially getting to know the Bahamian people. We were alone/together alot of the time when the ships weren't in and enjoyed shell seeking, snorkeling and exploring. These days were bliss without the world around us, just the sun, sand and tranquility. Being together in the islands is such a big part of our love story.
What would you do with $20,000?Travel... there are so many places we want to experience together. Other cultures to learn about, we know it's a big beautiful world out there beyond our front porch and we want to see it. Also, give back.... cancer has touched our lives (as many others) so we are big believers in giving to research to help others. In addition, give to the children of the world (and our sweet grandgirls) so they can live a happy, healthy life.
