Our ex (we dated the same guy) introduced us. Neither of us wanted to meet but we did anyway to make him happy. We complained about our partners that night & went out separate ways (summarized). My mom & aunt died shortly after. That boyfriend hired Dominique to be my friend. We went along with it. Then my car got stolen & she volunteered to take me from to the gym and get drinks together for months. Dominique still remembers when she caught feelings. She said “And I’ve chased her ever since.”
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Vegas. Dominique’s mom asked me to keep her company whenever she wasn’t playing a poker tournament. We ran around Vegas for two days just spending time together. It was the first time we cuddled. We were forced to share a bed. Dominique: We both knew we had feelings but… we both were in relationships. If I could turn back time, I would have told Kandace to not order the nachos and broke up with our partners.
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married August 2026. It would be nice to use some on the wedding and some household expenses. New carpet, new couch, and a nice honeymoon on a cruise.
