Connect How did your love story begin?

It all started while I was photographing newborns at a hospital. I met this amazing couple whose connection was so powerful, it was impossible to ignore. As I got to know them, I asked how they met—and the wife mentioned Bumble. I had never heard of it before, but something about their story stuck with me. It was New Year’s Day. I signed up, telling myself, “I’m going to find my husband.” Just a few days later, I cancelled the membership—but not before my husband that I married 6 months later.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many wonderful memories to choose from, but one of the best was when we traveled home to visit our families. Most of our loved ones couldn’t make it to our wedding—only my sister was able to be there, and having her there meant the world to me. What made that trip even more meaningful was introducing Carlo to my mum. My dad passed away before he could meet Carlo in person, so it was incredibly special for my mum to finally meet the man I married.

What would you do with $20,000?

When we win, we would use the money as a down payment on a home. It would mean the world to us to finally have a place of our own and start building equity. Right now, we don’t have much, as we’re both working hard to build second careers. This would be an incredible first step toward creating a stable future together.
