The son of a Russian-Jewish immigrant, Jake was born in Brooklyn and was sent to military school for 7 years, then decided he wanted to be an actor. A smalltown girl from the Midwest moved to NYC with big dreams. They met years later in a TGW Studios acting class. Jake was a superstar student in class; Kaitlyn was taken by his acting ability. Jake was supposed to move to Los Angeles in just two weeks when they began going steady, and ultimately changed his plans.

They make each other laugh uncontrollably every day. They starred in an Off-Broadway production of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” together as Beatrice and Benedick. They’ve travelled all over the country. They love hiking in upstate New York and the LA Hills with their 5-pound Yorkie, Goomba. Kaitlyn is a professional equestrian & has been downhill skiing since age 2, and is teaching Jake to do both. Jake will teach Kaitlyn to ballroom dance for the first dance at their wedding.

Kait is a financial advisor, so she would definitely put the money into a high-yield savings account so that the funds will keep up with the rate of inflation. K&J are both working actors. J&K live with Kaitlyn’s mother, KayAnn, who has stage IV metastatic breast cancer. They would use the money to throw a gorgeous small wedding & then start a brood! Jake doesn’t currently have health insurance and had a major skiing accident this year, so the funds will also go towards his surgery.
