It all started in the most unexpected place—Facebook Dating. Kahri was living in Baltimore, Maryland, and Eric was in Fredericksburg, Virginia, when we stumbled across each other’s profiles. What began as a simple message quickly turned into something we both never could have imagined. Our late-night chats became the best part of our day—filled with laughter, shared stories, and dreams that somehow just aligned. We talked about everything.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple is visiting the Smithsonian Zoo. We took one of our very first pictures together there, and I’ll never forget seeing Kahri’s face light up at all the cute animals—that was the moment I realized I was falling in love. It was simple, sweet, and full of the kind of joy we now carry with us every day.

With $20,000, we’d be able to put that toward bringing our spooky Halloween wedding to life in the most unforgettable way. We’re getting married on October 31st, surrounded by the people we love, in a setting that reflects our shared love for all things eerie, elegant, and unique. From gothic-inspired décor and dramatic florals to themed food, moody lighting, and meaningful personal touches, this support would help us create the experience we’ve been dreaming of.
