Connect How did your love story begin?

The Ritz Ybor 2010, two sisters and two friends meet as strangers with the goal to find tickets to a sold out concert. Passion Pit had never played in Tampa, and still has not again to this day. We begged and pleaded with all of the attendees going in, one of the friends would even write, “Need PP Tix… ps I’m dying” on their white tee shirt. Eventually we did all make it in. Every single person was dripping sweat and dancing their hearts out. Justin and I were inseparable shortly after.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding. We celebrated and hosted the most magical weekend gathering, with music, art, poetry, and love. It resembled a music festival with all of our friends camping and contributing in their own way. We had Future Joy play music for us, our friends spun our favorite disco sets, and we danced and played in a bounce house until the sun came up. Our cat was the ring bearer and our celebration has been deemed legendary by all those in attendance.

What would you do with $20,000?

After being laid off from my corporate job I am pursuing my dream of being a professional photo editor / image restoration artist. This money would help to support us while I work on this dream. Currently, our finances are a bit too insecure for our main goal. Justin and I are looking to expand our family soon. I know $20,000 doesn’t begin to cover that, but it could definitely help. 💙💖
