Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on a dating app. Shout out hinge! We matched and didn’t end up meeting in person for a month because we live an hour and a half away and work etc. But we started calling in that 1st month and we’d end up on the phone for at least 2 hours every day. The record was five hours one day. We already had feelings for each other by the time we met in person and we’ve called every day since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We’ve had a lot of sweet and beautiful moments but nothing really tops when we finally met for the first time in person. You wonder if the connection will translate to real life. We liked each other, we knew so much about each other, and thank God getting to see each other and hug and laugh in person was amazing! I (Lilly) was nervous he wouldn’t think I was pretty in person but the first thing he said after hello was “You’re beautiful.” We were both smiling the entire date.

What would you do with $20,000?

Not to be boring but probably save a lot of it. California is expensive :) Though we do both work a lot, Justin has two jobs and I have one but I’m also pursuing my bachelors. It would be nice to go on a little trip together, maybe to the east coast, and relax and be us without work and schedules. But yeah mostly be responsible adults and save.
