Our love story began in a popular historic Texas studio, Sugar Hill, when Justin's team crashed my session. This would be the first place we met professionally, back in 2014. We'd reconnect once or twice a year, but it would take almost a decade and a few life experiences for us to connect on a personal level. Justin randomly slid in my dm's to ask me out on our first date in August of 2022 at a quaint cafe in the city. We've been inseparable ever since that date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our 2023 road trip from Houston to Atlanta and back was one of those moments we knew we were meant for each other. We traveled to Atlanta to pick up Khiara's mom, who was experiencing some health challenges. It was the first time her mom would meet me in person. We ate and danced in New Orleans, and stopped at random cities along the way. Long road trips can be tough, but this was one of those experiences that reassured we could do this for life.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we'd finally have a small wedding ceremony to renew our vows and take the honeymoon we've been waiting for. The rest would go toward investing in the album we've been self-funding and creating.
