Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story begins on Halloween night with Ari dressed at Mario and Justin was behind the bar as Lord Farquaad. They made some small talk but nothing came of it yet. A few months later on Ari’s college graduation night, she went back to the same bar to see Justin in his normal work attire. She asked Justin, “Were you Lord Farquaad on Halloween?” From there, we talked for the remainder of the night and planned a date for the following week. We’ve been inseparable ever since!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory was on our six month anniversary. We were already so in love but it was finally time to say it. For our anniversary, we went to dinner and then went to the best sunset overlook in the city. As we watched the sunset, Justin read a poem he wrote for Ari. The poem was heartfelt and ended with him saying “I love you!” Obviously, Ari said it back. It was truly magical to be in such a beautiful moment together confirming our love.

What would you do with $20,000?

With this money, we will kickstart our future! Within the next year, we plan to move in together. This money would help us with that next big step in our relationship. Justin will also use a part of this money to go back to graduate school for his Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Ari will use her portion of the money to help fund her 5th grade classroom for the upcoming school year.
