We’re a great couple because we grow like sunflowers—bold, grounded, and always turning toward the light together.
We would like to thank you for supporting Julia and Eddie in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met as background extras on the Hulu rom-com Crush in 2021. A COVID scare paused filming, so everyone was told to wait in their cars. After hours of sitting, Julia left to find a restroom and came back to park behind Eddie’s car. Eddie got out to chat with other extras, and Julia thought he was cute and joined the group to say hi. Filming was canceled for the day, so we all went to the mall…and the rest is history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is a packed weekend where we acted in a tourism ad for I Love NY, then saw My Chemical Romance—Julia’s favorite band and Eddie’s first concert ever. The next day, Eddie worked as a grip and gaffer on a NYC doc while Julia explored Spanish Harlem. We each got to share a huge part of who we are—Julia’s love of music and Eddie’s Puerto Rican roots. It felt like we stepped into each other’s worlds.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d put half of the $20K toward a down payment on our first home and the second half of it would go towards producing a film together.
