Connect How did your love story begin?

It started a year ago in Miami, we matched on a dating app but didn’t meet. He returned to Scotland but texted often. Last December he flew 4,265 miles for our first date! At brunch, sparks flew! We were lost in each other unaware of the restaurant closing. Since then, we’ve been inseparable, talking daily despite the distance. We’ve traveled 17,060 miles now with lots of effort to make it work. Juggling jobs and time zones is tough, but every call and visit confirms we’re are crazy but in love!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It was a Friday before he flew back to Scotland (first trip) and we met up after I finished working. Miami was gorgeous, and he was chilling by his hotel pool (just waiting for me). I got there, and we hopped in. Turns out it was super deep! And I didn’t want my hair wet, so he just hugged me and carried me through the water. We both agree that moment hit us hard! It was like, boom, we knew we wanted to be together. It was peace and pure happiness ❤️ That simple hug changed everything for us!

What would you do with $20,000?

We will definitely use it for our wedding! Yes, we already talked about it despite the skepticism of some of our family and friends (even though we recognize they all wish the best for us).
