We met in the grocery store- Ha! Yes, the grocery store. JR was a sales rep for a food broker and I worked in a grocery store he serviced. We had noticed one another from a distance before but the day we officially met he pretended’ to need help finding a certain product in the store. He asked for my help and although I had no clue where to find it, I was happy to ‘pretend’ as though I did.. We both knew then, that day was the beginning of our forever together. 45 years later here we are.🧡

Our favorite memory is not that of a romantic night together although we have had a few🧡. Ours is of the day we traveled to the DOHR in Bham. Al. to sign our long awaited final adoption papers.The day we brought our son home to be forever ours out shines any candlelight dinner or romantic moment the two of us have ever shared. On that day we left that office with a grateful heart and the child God created just for us. We later added a daughter and have since created a lifetime of memories.🧡

Because we have never had the ability to do so, we would use a portion of the prize money to take our children and our grandchildren, on a family vacation. The remaining money would go toward securing a more stable future for our precious 15 yr old special needs, autistic child who is actually our grandson, which we adopted at the age of four.
