College sweethearts - introduced in 2012 by my late sorority sister for greek community. we became social media mutuals in 2013, i liked a couple pics, she liked a couple pics…iykyk 🫣 i shot my shot on Facebook the summer of my sophomore year in college. We talked everyday (i was in VA, she was In Philly for the summer) until fall semester started. It was instant. When it got too serious, we tried to stop because of her cultural obligations, but we never could. We just got engaged this March 🫶
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our move to Charlotte. Jessica had just graduated from army training as a reservist and got a job there. We made the decision to move from VA to NC with our cat Ramy in 2020 (Covid shutdown) - the drive felt like forever, but we’ll never forget driving in the skyline to our downtown apartment. We fell in love all over again just getting to know each other in a new city and realized if we could make it through this, we can make it through anything.
What would you do with $20,000?We still have to come out to Jot’s dad, a traditional Punjabi man, and we won’t expect he’ll be approving. If we win, we can tell him “look, you may not like it BUT… we are America’s favorite couple 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️” With $20,000, we’d pay for our wedding, a beautiful multi-day, multicultural celebration for everyone who’s been apart of this journey with us for the past 12 years. If there’s leftover, Jotie really wants to fence the front yard. If we win, you can come!!
