I was out one night after work with a girlfriend. When we showed up to the venue, I was checking out the security guard (Dennis) and when he came over to speak to us, I made fun of him for wearing a beanie and gloves in 50 degree weather in Miami. He pulled out his hand to show me he’s really cold and when I held his hand…we both felt it. It felt familiar. Felt like I knew him. We laughed and went on our way. After I was inside a bit, Dennis came to find me and I gave him my number.

There are so many! But one is zip lining with Dennis here in Florida! He’s never been so it was nice to give that to him for his first time. Another is celebrating both of our birthdays one summer at The Standard in Miami Beach; we biked, ate a lot of goodness, we relaxed by the pool, the spa and around the hotel. It was refreshing and we can’t wait to do it again. We work so hard but we love adventure!

We’d probably pay down some debt, invest some of it into a property…our first home. Maybe a small vacation. I’d love to help Dennis fix his car. There’s quite a few necessities it can be used for. Of the 3yrs together, the first was fun and play but the last 2yrs have been nothing but work & struggle. At times no work. We left toxic jobs to begin new careers for a better future. Our situation has brought us even closer. It hasn’t been easy but we’re grateful for the struggles.
