Connect How did your love story begin?

Single & searching for love on the internet. We fell hard, fast, & genuinely for each other. We matched the day after Josh booked a spontaneous car-guys-trip to Germany, and talked across time zones for the 11 days before his return. We’d stay up late, wake up early, excitedly talking non-stop via FaceTime/texts until our August 11 first date (Meagan’s dad’s bday). Spoiler, we still talk non-stop & are just as excited. Our 1st date was painting birthday cards over brunch, the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first trip together, where Josh asked Meagan to be his girlfriend, was a staycation right on the water. Our first night we went for a sunset swim, where Meagan showed Josh her authentic silly-side & performed her graceful mermaid swim for him, looping her ankles together as she splashed the water. Immediately after we burst into laughter and now any mention of mermaids makes us smile. We went on little adventures around the town, and shared breakfast on the balcony directly above the ocean.

What would you do with $20,000?

Get Josh his dessert, a Chick-fil-A brownie, one of Meagan’s many regular surprises. Next we’d take our first international trip! Travel has been for friend’s weddings & family birthdays across the US, and we’d love an adventure out of the country. Funds left over would be put towards our dream home, a goal we’re working towards. We cook at home, make coffee, decided to stay in our 600 sq ft apartment another year, & save where we can to purchase in LA, ideally with a yard for our doodle Olaf!
