It began in 2015 when we married but honestly 2022 is when our love story really began. My husband fell in the trap of Drug and Alcohol addiction for a couple of years. He hit rock bottom in 2021 and went to a faith based rehab for one year where he surrendered everything and gave it all to God. Since he got out in 2022 we are back at our home church and are very involved and he leads an addiction class there every week. Our marriage is stronger than ever and we owe it all to God!!!!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Husband: The first time I saw my wife after being away only for a month without the haze of addiction over my eyes. To be able to see what true love and beauty looks like through her eyes. Wife: my favorite memory is when he said he needed help from his addiction and he went for a year and he surrendered all to God. That saved our marriage. And to me that is the best thing you can do is to fight for your marriage. ❤️ Always put God first!!!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly we would love to take a honeymoon out West and pay off some bills. We will tithe to our church and give to missions. God has been to good to us with blessing after blessing that we need to give back.
