My husband & I met in our undergrad program at NWU. He's a year older than me. That first meeting actually was pretty rough. He made fun of my high school - we were theatre & speech team rivals. I rushed out of the greenroom in tears. Not what he had hoped for. He then spent the next 9 months wooing me everyday.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we had first moved in together we were very poor. And our first Valentine's Day on our own, we barely had 2 pennies to rub together. But he asked if I wanted something. I said "no" at first, but then mentioned that I was out of topcoat nail polish & maybe we could get some. V-day that year fell the day before payday. He found 3 bucks in change & drove off to the drugstore after work with the gas light on. The car didn't make it to there. But he made it home an hour late with that topcoat.
What would you do with $20,000?Go on a long fun trip. We love to travel & would be taking the adventure of a lifetime. He's my favorite travel companion.
