Our love story began our Sophomore year of college. But, in reality, we actually knew each other from elementary school. He was my first crush in the first grade and I was his crush in fifth grade. Neither of us knew until we reconnected in college. He came into my life unexpectedly during a rough time period in my life and showed me not only how to be loved but how to love myself.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory we’ve shared as a couple is when we started to foster. The first foster dog was tough. We fell in love with her, and cried numerous times when we approved her forever home, but it brought us closer together and fostered our love of fostering dogs and continued to do so. We learned patience, love, and how to live in the moment at all times together. There are so many memories we’ve shared as a couple that are our favorite to be honest because of how much happiness and growth.
What would you do with $20,000?Along with my partner being in vet school, we also foster dogs (in addition to our 3 pets). We would love to donate a portion to the rescue as well as our local shelter. As for the rest, we’d love to start planning our future elopement.
