It began in a Taco Bell! Again we were in addiction/recovery. I never spoke to Joe even though we worked together for month at that time. We were both living im recovery houses, he told me he had a bottle of alcohol in his bag, I made him empty it by the end of the night and invited him to a "recovery meeting" although I really was just intrigued by this man.we went and never stopped talking since., now going on 8 years of marriage.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The favorite memory I have is when we first met. We went for a walk and found this log to sit on. While sitting we were getting to know each other. Joe didn't try making a move, he simply asked me what I believed in, what my dreams are...this is the moment I knew I wanted to spend my life with this man. We believed in marriage, that it should be sacred, we believed in a higher power, and getting the time to know one another rather then just jump into bed or another failed relationship we found
What would you do with $20,000?There is so much we could do. We are in the middle of buying our first home yes addicts do recover!, so it would go to that, maybe fixing the place up to be our own, a vacation would be amazing since we never had a honeymoon..I am sure we could figure out something to spend it on 🙂
