We met as kids, feared falling, but years later reconnected now we laugh, grow, and love every quirk. Silly we waited so long!
We would like to thank you for supporting Joria Wilson in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
When we were 16, we worked together at a snack shack for the Boy Scouts. It was a sweet and memorable time; filled with shy glances, nervous laughter, and innocent flirting. We even went on a date, but our nerves got the best of us, and we both mistakenly believed the other wasn’t interested. Looking back, it’s clear we simply didn’t know how to express what we felt. We were young, unsure; but the connection was undeniable.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories is when we reconnected. I was going through a tough time and almost canceled our date, thinking he wouldn’t be interested. But when he texted asking if he could still see me, I knew he was different. I told myself I wouldn’t go home with him, but the night was so perfect I didn’t want it to end. With the restaurant closing, we went to his place and stayed up all night talking, laughing, and cuddling. It was truly special.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, Joria could build a solid foundation for a future family. Victoria could begin IVF treatment and take a step toward parenthood. Jordan could even finally open the business he’s dreamed of. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but today we hold tight to our hopes. We dream of family, purpose, and building something real—and with support, those dreams can start to take shape!
