Our love story has been epic, unexpected & magical. We both grew up in very religious households & were told that being in a gay relationship was a “bad.” Starting out as “just friends” it fatefully became something so much more. Years later after much healing & a painful coming out journey, we are more in love than ever & flourishing despite the opposition around us.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many simple moments that are serendipitous it’s hard to pick.. Nothing crazy, just experiencing beauty together feels like heaven on earth. Being so connected to someone makes just about every moment my favorite. I’m just so happy I get to be with her. But a specific one would be once we were driving & out of nowhere I told her “We need to get you a bike with a basket so you can get to class easier.” And right as I said it we happened to drive by one that was left on the side of the road.
What would you do with $20,000?Put it towards loans & fix up our cute but very old home. Donate a percentage towards no profits that raise support for trans rights & the rights of the LGBTQ+ community & the mental health crisis.
