Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in our 20s in CSUN’s theater department—Bill danced around me and cast me in a scene where we shared a kiss I never forgot. Life took us separate ways, but years later, he wandered into my LA showroom, and again, I wasn’t free. A decade passed. At Target in Northridge, he shouted “Help! I lost my wallet!” and fate stepped in. He recognized me instantly. He’d kept my card for years. When he called, we finally made that dinner—and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite romantic memory is our wedding. We had an acting studio on the CBS lot at Radford and used the Desperate Housewives set for the ceremony and the Seinfeld New York street for the reception. Bill produced it all—Broadway singers serenaded me with “Joni, Joni” from West Side Story, and pop singer Beverly Bremer sang “There Were Bells on a Hill.” Guests still say it was the best wedding they ever attended.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a blended family, our focus for years has been making our children happy, so unlike many couples, we’ve never taken that dreamy Italian romantic vacation. For our 25th wedding anniversary, we would love to experience it together, finally. Strolling through cobbled streets, sharing pasta in candlelit trattorias, and watching sunsets over the Amalfi Coast—we want to celebrate our love with the romance Italy is known for.
