We started out as friends. We met at the age of 13 as classmates. We were friends all through middle and high school. We parted ways after high school but never truly lost contact. Around the age of 30, we tried officially dating for the first time but it just wasn't the right time. Over the next 15 years we would to get together to go on trips. He tried for a decade to get me to move to south. In '23 I took the risk and now we're married!! I loved him long before I knew it.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is from before we were even married. Jon came up to Illinois for a planned trip together. We took my son and his friend to Wisconsin Dells. Jon and I spent the whole day, just the two of us. Getting to know each other again. We went on roller coaster rides, talked, laughed, and just genuinely connected on a level I've never connected with anyone. We had so much fun.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it towards our homesteading dreams and building the life we want to have together. A little farm of our own.
