Our story started online in June 2023, a lifeline when I was at my lowest, just 19 and adrift. We finally met on July 10th. Parked on a hill overlooking the city, we talked for hours, sharing our traumas, and I soaked up all of Jon’s silly jokes. What truly won me over was his genuine interest; he wasn't looking for anything but to truly see me. He was the first person to truly absorb everything I said without judgment, making me feel seen for the very first time. Since the we had a son.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In summer '23, I lost over 100 lbs, my confidence blooming. Jon, my rock, led me on countless hikes. Deep in a mountain cave, he kissed me, his eyes full of pride. "I'm so proud of you," he whispered, celebrating my journey and our love. That breathtaking moment, before our uphill climb, was pure magic, forever etched in my heart.
What would you do with $20,000?If my husband and I were fortunate enough to win America's Best Couple contest, our first priority would be to invest in a nice, comfortable trailer to create a stable home for our family. The remaining funds would be set aside for our son's future, ensuring he has a secure foundation regardless of what comes our way. This prize would truly be life-changing for us!
