I was in the Army and was stationed in Sonja’s home town in Babenhausen, Germany September 6th 1989. Some buddies and I went out to explore the town and we met in a little bar/restaurant. It was kinda like love at first sight. Ended up dating soon after that. We were both 18 at the time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Getting married over the phone and finally being reunited after the war. I was in Kuwait during the Gulf War and she was in Pennsylvania with my family, and she was pregnant at that time. It was the first MCI long distance phone marriage.
What would you do with $20,000?Got some bills that need paid off and we haven’t been able to take a vacation for a while. We’d love to go back to Germany and visit friends and family.
