We met in college more than years ago. We really didn’t like each other too much. We were both in competition over who was going to be the president of our student union group. I thought he was cocky, and he thought I was annoying but overtime we became really good friends. We started talking to each other about the difficultieswe are dealing with in our lives. We started sharing elements of our faith. He became someone I look forward to seeing on campus every day I became someone he trusted .

I would have to say the favorite memory we have is anytime we’re laughing anytime we’re hanging out and anytime we’re figuring out difficult situations to overcome together. Of course I would say becoming parents, and then grandparents would have to be the highlight of our life to see the legacy that our love has been able to create

We’ve been struggling for years to finally become homeowners and have a place where we could have our children and grandchildren, gather over special occasions and holidays. We’ve always prayed that our home would be a place where those who need to feel accepted and loved could gather. It’s our dream to invite those in our life less fortunate than us to have a place of love and acceptance. We hope being able to purchase a home would help us to offer that.
