My mother pushed me to join her at her weekend flea market. She wanted me to meet this 'nice guy' that had bought tons from her. It was love at first sight. Wow - The quiet wisdom of my mother. Before she passed, she would often say, “I won’t leave here until I know you’re okay.” In her heart, she knew that John was the one who would ensure that. She brought us together, and in doing so, gave me the greatest gift—someone who brings me peace, strength, and unconditional love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Buying our house. Walking in the door and being completely overwhelmed by the work ahead of us. But also having a new confidence with a partner that would push through just like you. And we did! We re-built our gorgeous 1938 Tudor from the ground up. My mom would be so proud of our partnership and the love we've put into these walls.
What would you do with $20,000?We would continue our new home renovation project. We have just a few areas left. Mainly our backyard where we will have a ceremony in front of our family and friends.
