How did your love story begin?

Their love story began in 1975 where they met as teenagers in the beautiful coastal state of Kerala, India. From two different religious backgrounds (John is Christian and Latha is Hindu), instead of going against their families, they brought them along for their journey and had a big non-denominational Indian wedding celebrating both their rich cultures. They would go on to finish school (John medical school and Latha engineering college) move continents to Europe then the US and build a family

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Although they've traveled across the entire globe, built successful respective careers, and raised beautiful children, John and Latha love spending time with each other the most. John and Latha are both incredible cooks and their favorite memories are spending Sunday mornings experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen or preparing for a dinner party with one of their multitude of friend groups.

What would you do with $20,000?

John and Latha love to invest in their community. John, a successful psychiatrist and business owner has spent his entire career caring for the most marginalized members of our society, those with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues. Dr. Johnson is making a difference but systemically through his dedication and leadership through various local organizations serving the greater Ohio community and beyond and would use the money to reinvest in their efforts to continue to do so.
