A bartender at our pool hall tried to hook us up, but we became instant friends. In fact, best friends for 10 years. Both had relationships during this time. We were each other's "person," if you will. One day, my neighbor and very good friend, was drunk and said we were soul mates. After I went through a bad break up, we took our chance on love. Five months into dating, we took our first road trip. Then on Newport Beach, RI on a freezing cold night in December, John me asked me to marry him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Being from a small town in central Florida and never living anywhere else. Big cities weren't my thing. I didn't even like driving in Orlando. When John and I first became friends, I told him that and he promised to take me to Boston (where he is from) one day. Well, on that first road trip, he took me and then proposed 😍. Since then, I have fallen in love with the charm of a bustling city. We have taken several more trips and gone to NYC, LV, Chicago, San Francisco, and more.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off a few small debts and then use the rest to starts our next chapter in a new city. We live in a relatively rural area in Florida and I have never lived anywhere else. We would love too move to a big city, to start our family and make new memories. It would help us be able to make that dream come true.
