I saw Katie before a show I played in East Nashville at a place called Cobra. I’m a drummer and would soon find out that she’s an actor. I remember us smiling at each other and myself thinking, “If I was that guy, I would totally just walk up to her and introduce myself.” But in the frame of mind I was in, I was thinking more, “play the show and go home.” However, we would get introduced after the show and she invited me to sit next to her at the bar. We’ve been together over 7 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We went to Katie’s hometown of Ithaca, NY for the wedding of a childhood friend. Getting to see her hometown through her eyes was so cool and deepened our connection. 2 days later, I proposed to her next to a lighthouse on Cayuga Lake in front of her mom and close friends. I feel like we’re always making new favorite memories and growing stronger each day. Sometimes, it feels like we’re still dating and we love it.
What would you do with $20,000?We would like to have some repairs done on our house and are really wanting to start a family soon. $20,000 would be an amazing help for us.
