Connect How did your love story begin?

For weeks, we bonded and talked online. We had no idea where this interaction would lead to. Eventually, Jace decided to drive 2 hours so that we could meet in person. Ever since then, we have both been making the trip back and forth. What started off as a simple social media interaction has bloomed into a healthy and happy relationship. We have spent our time exploring one another’s interest, checking out local beaches, going to museums, attending pride, and building a deep connection.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory that we have made thus far would have to be attending world pride in DC. By showing up to world pride, we were able to have our voices heard and stand up for queer rights. We spent the day hanging out with friends, watching the parade, and going to the street festival. Some of our highlights included seeing many of our favorite drag queens, Renee Rapp, Laverne Cox, and the one and only Cynthia Erivo.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were to win the $20,000 prize from Americas Favorite Couple, we would use it for a multitude of things. We plan to use the funds to donate to the Christopher Street Project and the Gaza relief fund (organized through the human development fund), legal fees for Jace to legally change his name + other gender affirming care, cover some of the cost of John’s schooling to become an elementary and special education teacher, and move in together.
