We met in high school via my boyfriend at the time. 10 years later he found me through a mutual friend on facebook. He messaged me asking how I had been. I decided that year to throw myself a 27th bday party and invited him. His bday is 4 days after mine and he invited me to his bday party. We’ve been together ever since. He stepped in and stepped up to raise my 3 kids. He is their dad, he loves them so much, no one would question their DNA. “This is true love. You think this happens everyday?”

Our favorite memory is when we went to Colorado on a little “honeymoon”. We kept hearing noises outside our hotel room and looked out the window to see a big brown bear rifling through the garbage. We were so excited and sat at the window watching him for about an hour. The next morning we walked out to where he had been the night before. We saw all the trash he left in a long trail into the woods. We saw a couple paw prints in the mud and took pics. It was an exciting moment that we shared.

My health has been rapidly declining over our marriage and after 20 years of searching we finally have an answer to what’s wrong with me. But we racked up a lot of medical debt so we would use some to pay that debt but then we have always wanted to go on a cruise together. Neither of us has been on one and would love to have the first one together! And when I start feeling better it would be the best way to celebrate!
