God’s hand brought us together. John was my brother’s friend’s roommate in the Marines living states apart, we would’ve never met otherwise. The first night I told my mom I’d marry him. Even joked how my sister and I both ended up with last names you can’t say without blushing. 25 years later, by God’s grace, we’re still choosing each other
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?While running my salon, I started selling clothes on the side to help bring John home to our boys. John was an underground coal miner working swing shifts. By God’s grace, we sold enough for him to leave the mines. We grew into a brick&mortar store with a warehouse and strong online business. Even though the dream later came to a close, it drew us closer and strengthened our marriage.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to breathe. Pay down debt, fix what’s broken, invest in our home, and build margin so we can keep giving our boys the foundation they deserve one rooted in love, faith, and stability by Gods grace.
