How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in high school chemistry—fitting, since the chemistry was real from the start. I kept noticing this guy in a bright orange sweatshirt, always laughing and smiling. I was shy, but after seeing him fly during a 400 at track practice, I knew I had to make a move. The next day, I turned around in class and talked to him. We clicked instantly. I took his Game Boy Advance and said I’d only give it back for his number. It worked—and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s hard to choose just one favorite memory because every day together is special—but visiting Alaska in 2023 stands out. Josh lived there for years before moving back to Texas, and I’d heard so many stories about it. Seeing those places in person—the mountains, the trails, the quiet beauty—made me feel even more connected to him. It was like walking through the chapters of his past, and it meant the world to experience that together.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were given $20,000, we would put it toward our small destination wedding. Traveling has always been a huge part of our relationship, and it only feels right to start this next chapter with an intimate celebration in a place that reflects our love for adventure. This gift would help us create a meaningful, unforgettable experience with the people who matter most to us.
