We met at Disneyland in 1995. We weren't too fond of each other but as the day progressed we realized we could make something great together! We never left each others side. We had our 1st child at 16, and had 3 more every few years later. We grew closer and closer the more hurdles we faced. We are best friends, husband & wife, parents and soul mates. We couldn’t imagine our life without one another.

Because we had children so early in life and our resources were extremely limited for decades we have only recently got to travel. A year & 1/2 ago we flew out to Japan for a car show. It was the first time I have ever been on an airplane not to mention out of the country. Being able to share this with my husband was the most amazing feeling! It was his first time to Japan and the stress, laughs, cries & joy was all worth it! We still talk about how we’d love to go back!

We are in debt as most people are and my husbands health has declined greatly over the past few months. With us dealing with disability, him being pulled off work and our children wanting to move out to start their own lives we could use this $20,000 to help maintain bills, debt and living expenses as my husband gets the medical treatment he needs. He has always been the bread winner in our family and this prize money would greatly relieve a sense of responsibility that sits on his shoulders.
