How did your love story begin?

We met way back in first grade, so far back we don’t even remember meeting. We’ve just always been in each other’s lives. Friends through school, we became each other’s first love in junior high. That’s when it all started—until she dumped me for being too shy. Life took us down different paths, and we both married and divorced other people. But eight years later, we gave it another shot… and this time, it stuck. Turns out, love has a way of finding its way home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We feel like there are too many great memories to pick from! We’re sitting here reminiscing while the kids swim, trying to pick one while creating a new memory in the process. If we had to pick one it would be our wedding. It was just us, a photographer and minister at the lake. It was quiet and private. We forgot something at home and Joe ran to get it (5 minutes away) and got a ticket on his way back!

What would you do with $20,000?

Well, if we were responsible we’d probably do some much needed repairs on the house… most likely a new roof. But on the other hand we never had a honeymoon and with soon to be 10 kids and our insane schedule we haven’t been able to get away much. Sooo we’re thinking maybe we go on a cruise and have the honeymoon we never had! After 15 years, It’s WAYYY overdue!
