Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in July 2022. We were both in separate colleges and ended up at the same Fourth of July party. The funny part is that we had both been friends with the host for a number of years, but never ran into one another. Our friend was also taken back by how great we got along. Joseph had received my number from my younger brother who had pushed him to ask me on a date at said party. The next day, Joseph asked me on a date and we have been together ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is traveling to Arizona to see all three of its National Parks in one week. We saw the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, and Saguaro National Park. That trip alone had inspired our goal of visiting all 63 parks in our lifetime together. We love to hike and also found a love of kayaking on that trip together. It set us up for a life of adventure together.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 could offer us three different routes to pursue. The first option would bless us with the opportunity to buy our first home together with a yard for our 7-year-old dog to run around because he loves to be outside. Our second option is to continue our shared dream series of adventures by visiting more beautiful National Parks together and experiencing nature’s amazing landscapes. Our third option would be to have the wedding that we could only dream of with all of our family and friends.
