Connect How did your love story begin?

It all started at a birthday party, he caught my eye from across the room. It was funny every time I went around a corner he was there. I went back for a second plate and he was there. Eventually I bucked up the courage to give him my number and well… he reached out! We went out for sushi and dancing soon after that and had an amazing time. He walked me home where we made more food and talked until sunrise. That was 8 years ago and we’ve been inseparable since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Winter of 2019 Montreal, Lilith and I reunited while they were studying abroad. It was a surprise visit in the harsh winter. When I got there, we had very little ability to actually go out with Montreal’s freezing winter temperatures. On a shivering evening stroll, we found a large opening with acres of untouched snow & sculptures. It clicked, and we ran straight into the field chasing & flinging snowballs at each other. It felt like we had the entire city to ourselves.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve been together for 8 years and plan to be together for the rest of our lives. With the $20,000 we’d start planning our wedding 🫶🏽 to start off having this money would allow us to ensure Lilith’s grandma can travel to the wedding while being fully accommodated. She’s in the south and we’re on the west coast. We’d love to have our wedding in nature, in our own little fairy hideaway. We want to create something really special to share with our loved ones.
